Kaisin: Innovator in Sustainable Design and Artistic Direction

Charles Kaisin is a designer whose work explores form generation processes. He graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001, studying under Ron Arad in London, after completing an architecture degree in Brussels. Following internships with Jean Nouvel in Paris and Tony Cragg in 1997, Kaisin joined an exchange program at Kyoto University for the Arts in 2000, researching new materials. Kaisin specializes in creating contemporary designs from recycled materials. Beyond object design, he works in interior design and as an artistic director for fashion shows. He has completed projects for the Louvre Abu Dhabi offices in Paris, Swatch, the Museum of Contemporary Art Grand-Hornu (MAC's) in Belgium, Delvaux, Royal Boch, and the fashion brand Chine Collection. Kaisin also teaches design at Saint-Luc Architecture School in Brussels.
