Sabine Marcelis, a Rotterdam-based designer originally from New Zealand, studied industrial design at Victoria University of Wellington and graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2011. She founded Studio Sabine Marcelis, specializing in product, installation, and spatial design with a focus on materiality and pure forms.

Marcelis collaborates closely with industry specialists, using material research and experimentation to create unique visual effects. Her work has been exhibited at Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam and Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, with clients including Céline, Isabel Marant, Aesop, Burberry, and Salle Privée.
