Ester Bruzkus: A Leading Creative in Design

Ester Bruzkus, repeatedly named one of Architectural Digest’s “Top 100 Creatives in the Design World,” leads a renowned Berlin-based architecture and interiors practice. She studied architecture in Berlin and Paris, and before founding her firm in 2002, worked with notable architects in Paris and Tel Aviv. Her breakthrough came with the Amano hotel in East Berlin, transforming the Berlin-Mitte neighborhood and leading to further projects in Berlin and internationally. The firm designed fifteen hotels for the Azimut brand in Russia, as well as hotels for Nobu, Meininger, Ibis, Novotel, and Mercure. Ester’s expertise extends to award-winning private residences, including her own celebrated apartments. Ester has also designed acclaimed restaurants for top Berlin chefs, such as six venues for Michelin-starred Tim Raue and two for Dutch chefs Lode & Stijn. Notable projects include work for KaDeWe, PSD Bank, Delphi Lux Cinema, and workplaces for companies like C1 and Relaxound. She has collaborated with her husband Peter Greenberg since 2002.
